Glycol Ether

BUTYL DI GLYCOL

-Application
Butyl Di Glycol is most commonly used in the coatings and paint industries where its low volatility and high boiling point have seen it widely accepted as a flow promoter for baking finishes such as melamine, urea, phenol, or epoxy resin composites.

BUTYL DIGLYCOL ACETATE

-Application
Butyldiglycol Acetate serves as a high-boiling solvent, levelling agent and coalescent in paints and lacquers (including emulsion paints and textured finishes) and printing inks (primarily screen printing inks). It is also a component in cleaners.

BUTYL GLYCOL

-Application
Butyl glycol is most commonly used as a solvent and coalescing agent in water-based paints, coatings and inks where it improves the flow of the products as well as extending their drying time. It is also an efficient flow improver for urea, melamine and phenolic stoving finishes.

BUTYL TRIGLYCOL

-Application
Butyl Tri Glycol is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, oils, paint removers, gums, soaps, dyes, grease, industrial cleaners, polish strippers, disinfectants, chlorinated rubber, wood paints, inks and levelling agents.

ETHOXY PROPANOL

-Application
Ethoxy propanol is used mainly in the surface coating and printing industries as it can regulate the flow, levelling and coalescence of both surface coatings (including water-based paints) and flexographic printing inks.

ETHOXY PROPYL ACETATE

-Application
It is used in dyes for furniture polish or wood stains, and in dye solutions and pastes for printing. It is also used in processes that colour leather and textiles, and in ball-point pen pastes. PMA can also be used as a coalescent in coatings, and is particularly suitable for coatings containing polyisocyanates.

ETHYLENE GLYCOL

-Application
Ethylene glycol is a chemical commonly used in many commercial and industrial applications including antifreeze and coolant. Ethylene glycol helps keep your car's engine from freezing in the winter and acts as a coolant to reduce overheating in the summer.

ETHYL GLYCOL ACETATE

-Application
Ethylglycolacetate is used as active solvent for synthetic resins and is used in printing ink and surface coating formulations.

METHOXY PROPANOL

-Application
Methoxy propanol is primarily used as a chemical building block for the production of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate. It is also used as a solvent in manufacturing processes for the chemical, automotive and agricultural industries and in paint, lacquer and varnishes.

METHOXY PROPYL ACETATE

-Application
The main applications of methoxy propyl acetate are in coatings and printing inks, where it is frequently used as an alternative to ethoxyethyl acetate. It is used as a carrier solvent for resins and inks that are incompatible with water such as acrylics, epoxies, alkyds and polyesters.

METHYL DI GLYCOL

-Application
2-methoxyethanol is used in alcohol soluble dyes, and in quick-drying varnishes, enamels, nail polishes and wood stains. It is also used as an additive in aeroplane deicing solutions and small amounts of methyl glycol are also used in perfume fixatives and in the manufacture of photographic film.
