Polymers

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

-Application
High-Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) is a petroleum-based thermoplastic polymer considered one of the most versatile plastic materials available today. It is used to manufacture numerous items, including food and beverage containers, cleaning product bottles, pipes, cutting boards, and some shoe parts.

Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

-Application
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is widely used for manufacturing various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles, tubing, plastic parts for computer components, and various molded laboratory equipment. Its most common use is in plastic bags.

Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)

-Application
Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) has penetrated almost all traditional markets for polyethylene; it is used for plastic bags and sheets (where it allows using lower thickness than comparable LDPE), plastic wrap, stretch wrap, pouches, toys, covers, lids, pipes, buckets and containers, covering of cables, geomembranes, and mainly flexible tubing.

Medium-Density Polyethylene (MDPE)

-Application
Medium-Density Polyethylene (MDPE) is typically used in gas pipes and fittings, sacks, shrink film, packaging film, carrier bags, and screw closures. In the United Kingdom, black (or blue) MDPE is often used for water and waste water plumbing, and may also be referred to as 'black alkathene'.

Polypropylene (PP)

-Application
Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastics in the world. Polypropylene uses range from plastic packaging, plastic parts for machinery and equipment and even fibres and textiles.

Polycarbonate (PC)

-Application
As PC shows excellent compatibility with certain polymers, it is widely used in blends, such as PC/ABS, PC/ PET, PC/PMMA. Some of the common applications are compact disc, safety helmets, bullet-proof glass, car headlamp lenses, baby feeding bottles, roofing and glazing etc.

High Impact Polystyrene (HipS)

-Application
It is typically used for POP Display, Indoor Signage, and other common displays. High Impact Polystyrene is known for its stiffness, although it is considered a low strength material.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

-Application
PVC is a versatile material that offers many possible applications, these include; window frames, drainage pipe, water service pipe, medical devices, blood storage bags, cable and wire insulation, resilient flooring, roofing membranes, stationary, automotive interiors and seat coverings, fashion and footwear, packaging.

General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS)

-Application
GPPS is used for disposable cups, case for a box lunch and a household dishes, confectionary tray, package, CD cases, container for a seasoning, various films, etc.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)

-Application
ABS or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a common thermoplastic polymer typically used for injection molding applications. This engineering plastic is popular due to its low production cost and the ease with which the material is machined by plastic manufacturers.

Phosphorus Tribromide (PBR)

-Application
PBR material is typically used to add a realistic feel and textures to objects. This type of file is most often used in computer graphics and VR applications to texture 3D objects. However, they can also be used to texture 2D sprites or in real-time rendering engines.

Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR)

-Application
It is used across a broad range of applications, spanning everything from car tyres, shoe soles and heels, drive couplings, automotive parts and mechanical rubber goods. A large proportion of SBR is also used in latex form as an adhesive.
